Hospitals in Lagos, Hospitals in Nigeria
It is often said that nothing happens unless there is a dream first. At the genesis of the Divine Medical Centre story, there was a dream. A dream so powerful, that it is beginning to transform the medical landscape in Nigeria.
The dream nurtured and grew within Dr. Greg Osagie, the founder of Divine Medical Centre. Dr Osagie had a vision where quality and affordable healthcare was a given and where the pursuit of clinical excellence was daily endeavor.
Divine Medical Centre started in 1995 at 75, Eleshin Street off Keffi, Ikoyi Lagos. The hospital then moved to its present location at 16, Akanbi Danmole Street off Ribadu Road South West Ikoyi, Lagos. This relocation was necessitated by the increasing number of patients who use the hospital.
The hospital benefits from the services of almost 10 speciality doctors who are always available here. The hospital has all the basic departments seen in a modern hospital like Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, Pediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Skin & VD and Radiology.
Today Divine Medical Centre, is not just one of the country's premier healthcare providers, but had played a pioneering role in helping Nigeria become a center-of-excellence in global healthcare. However, the largest achievement of the hospital has been to take quality healthcare across the length and breadth of Lagos State.
Divine Medical Centre has succeeded in being more than just a quality healthcare provider to a major player in scripting the medical landscape of Nigeria. This is primarily because the hospital has continuously been at the helm of several game-changing innovations in Nigerian healthcare.
Divine Medical Centre is a member of the Medical Council of Nigeria and also a member of the Association of Private and General Medical Practitioners of Nigeria.
